We saw Michael’s work in a gallery in Owen Sound, and loved the salt and pepper mills. So we asked him if he could make a custom set from wenge wood to coordinate with woods specified by the designers of our sailboat.

The result is real joy. The mills are a beautiful accent for our boat, and are a real joy to use. We use even more pepper now than usual now, simply because of how lovely the mills are.

We are very pleased with Michael’s craftmanship. He took the time, and applied science to the drying of the wood blocks before turning them. The results are excellent, as you can see.
